March 17-21, 2025 is Phenology Week - a virtual celebration of the seasonal cycles of plants and animals. The purpose of Phenology Week is to celebrate YOU, our Nature's Notebook observers, Local Phenology Programs, and partners! We'll have webinars, awards, daily challenges, observer stories, and more.

Theresa's Plantside Chat: Stories from Phenology, the book - 3pm Eastern / 2pm Cen / 1pm Mtn / 12pm Pacific

USA-NPN Director Theresa Crimmins' first book, Phenology, will be published as a part of the MIT Press Essential Knowledge series just in time for spring, on March 4. In this webinar, Theresa will share share anecdotes and stories from the book. It will be a great time celebrating the signs of the seasons! In this webinar we will show you how to create a phenology calendar of either your own observations or observations collected by others in Nature's Notebook. The calendar will display the seasonal activity of your species of interest last year.
