If you're new to Nature's Notebook or would like a refresher on how to get started, then this is the webinar for you! Join our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, Samantha Brewer, and learn how to create your Nature's Notebook site, add plants and animals, and identify common phenophases.

Quercus Quest Webinar - 1pm AZ/Pacific / 4pm Eastern

Join our Quercus Quest webinar to learn how you can contribute to scientific research by spending 10 minutes a week tracking an oak tree where you live! Your data collected as part of this Nature's Notebook campaign will be used to understand the relationship between climate and leaf and flowering phenology in eastern white oak, bur oak, and their relatives. In this webinar, you'll hear from some of the researchers behind this campaign about how they are using your data, and get an overview of how you can participate in this campaign by tracking an oak tree where you live.

Learn from the USA-NPN Pheno Champions! These Local Phenology Programs were awarded the Pheno Champion award for their exemplary efforts to engage others in learning about phenology, collecting valuable data, and answering local science questions. Local Phenology Leaders from these Programs will share about their programs and answer your questions about what makes their programs thrive.

Phenology Wheels Paint Along: Blending Art and Science - 12pm AZ/Pacific / 3pm Eastern

Bring your pencils, crayons, and paint and create a Phenology Wheel with us based on Nature's Notebook data! We'll walk you through how to create a circular calendar that displays your favorite plant and animal seasonal events. No artistry skills required! You'll need either a paper plate or piece of paper (with something round to use to draw a circle on top) and something to draw/color with.

Phenology Meet-up at the Mason Center - 9am AZ

Tucson-area observers are invited to join us for an in-person phenology gathering at the Tucson Audubon's Mason Center. A chance to meet fellow Arizona phenologists, make some observations of local plants and animals, and play Phenology Bingo for prizes! Please RSVP to Samantha@usanpn.org.
